| When asked "how to throw a knife" by a pilgrim, One of the other fellows answered it for me. Better than I could I reckon. I could not improve on it any so I just printed it. "..., Holding the knife by the handle, thumb on one side and all fingers on the other, when the arm is in front of the body the blade is facing the ground. Keeping the blade in the same reference to the hand, the delivery may be by full rotation of the arm going down in front and up in back with release at the full arm extension in front. The delivery is the same if you pull the arm to the back as if throwing a baseball, again releasing the knife at full arm extension in front of the body. With practice one can develope a feel for releasing the knife to spin accordingly to the distance of the target. IT AIN^T ROCKET SCIENCE!!!!!!!! Thanx and a hat tip, David" |
